This was one of my closest encounters with the tiger. He was all but a couple of feet away from me. Thankfully i was in the protective enclosure of a safari jeep. Somebody i hope i get to shoot one in the wild sitting on a machan.

I start this blog with one of my best shots till date. A close up macro of this wonderful butterfly at the Bannerghatta Butterfly Park in Bangalore. A world without colour still looks so beautiful!
